Perth Freight Link still on track,
WA Transport Minister Dean Nalder says
The State Government says the final route for the $1.6
billion Perth Freight Link project is still due to be announced before
the end of the year.
"We're still working towards that timetable," he said. Premier Colin Barnett last week appeared to back away from the original schedule. Mr Barnett said the government was committed to the completion of Roe 8 through the Beeliar Wetlands, but said no decision had been made about how or when the government would proceed with the second stage of the freight link from Roe Highway to the port.
